Darden Towe Park in Charlottesville, Virginia, is a beautiful park that has so much to offer. It's perfect for all ages, and it's such an easy drive from DC! I went with my family as we were just passing through on our way back home after Thanksgiving, but we could have easily stayed here longer if we had more time. We loved hiking the trails and seeing the views of the mountains surrounding us; plus, you can't beat getting to catch your breath when walking around at this elevation (we were there during early December).
